I am proud to serve as the principal of this amazing school. We are a close community of students, staff, and families who work together to ensure that our students love learning at Donner Trail!

I have been an educator for 30 years in both elementary and middle school, spending the last 9 years working in the Tahoe Truckee Unified School District as a teacher and administrator. I believe that all students deserve a high quality education with educators that care about their well being and growth. We carry that belief through everything we do at Donner Trail. 

Donner Trail Elementary provides students with a multi-age learning environment. Our small student population and combination grade level classes allow students to learn and grow at their pace with peer and adult support. We are situated next to the Yuba River near the top of Donner Summit and we take full advantage of our rich, natural environment! Our Outdoor Program gives our students the opportunity to explore and learn outdoors as well as in the classroom.  

Learning at Donner Trail Elementary is an adventure, and each year we make tracks as lifelong learners!
