Our Principal

Welcome to Donner Trail Elementary. I am proud to be the principal of this amazing school! Donner Trail is situated next to the Yuba River near the top of Donner Summit and we take full advantage of our rich, natural environment! Our revitalized Outdoor Program gives our students the opportunity to explore and learn outdoors as well as in the classroom. 

Donner Trail Elementary provides students with a personalized and smaller multi-age learning environment. Our small student population and combination classes allow students to learn and grow with other children of varying age levels. Donner Trail Elementary is more than a school, it’s a community.

Learning at Donner Trail Elementary is an adventure, and each year we make tracks on becoming lifelong learners!
