Sustainability & Conservation

TTUSD is focused on conserving energy, water, and waste to help to reduce costs as well as preserve natural resources for future use. Financial savings from conservation and sustainability programs means TTUSD can utilize more funding for our students in the classrooms. Reducing our footprint also means preserving our environment for our community and future generations to come.

Current Projects:

• TTUSD is conducting its first greenhouse gas (GHG) inventory, which will identify the sources of the school district's GHG emissions. This analysis will help direct target strategies to reduce our emissions and to inform our sustainability targets.

• Energy audits are being conducted at school sites to identify retrofits, energy efficiency measures & improvements.
